Question about spectral souls!

If one were to go in the direction of a demon or a bat-like vampire with wings, would those wings be flight capable?

Yes, to a degree. Even Aves-types cannot fly beyond the islands and are more capable of flight when Shifted rather than merely in their Corrupted forms. For a Spectral type who develops wings, they could absolutely do more than just levitate, but they might have some limitations. Some examples might include only being able to fly well during night (only a bit of flight capability in daytime), and they might not have the strength to fly for as long as an Aves-types. Have fun with it, but ultimately: yes! Wings = flight.
