So what if, in the play fighting, the instinct is less about fighting and more about mounting and mating, would that count as incapacitating and get the top dog (lol) knocked out?

Oh dear... you could take that in multiple directions really, depending on what you wanted to happen! It's possible Patho-Gen would allow them to continue- because hey, this is good info too, as for what behaviors these Natural Souls might provoke the Augmented into (they assume it's the soul at work and not like... what the characters would be doing anyway. they can be wrong).

Or, it could strike the observing scientists as too obscene, and cause the primary instigator to get knocked out. Depends on the group the characters get, there's some that will still choose Karterian Propriety over science, and some who will... not. So really, you can take either outcome!
