Hey there.

Question about the types of things that can be part of the natural soul: when you mention 'arcane beasts', does that include things from like, folklore and D&D monstrous manual? Could someone have a dragon soul? Or a pokemon? Or a venus flytrap? Or a kitsune? Is anything off the table?
A dragon soul itself, no. For most mythological creatures, influence can be drawn if they fall within one of the Natural Soul categories. Like someone with a fox soul from Carnivora, could pull inspiration from kitsunes, alongside the usual soul-type traits. Pokemon wouldn't be possible as they're not real animals (though the animals that so many of them are based on could be pulled on instead). Venus flytraps are just straight-up Terra types in themselves. c:
