FAAAANTASTIC so what happens to the ingestor. how's the taste. is it bad. asking for a friend (it is me) |
Oh, there's nothing wrong with the taste at all! Mostly. Sticking to fully-ripened fruits/leaves, etc., they will all taste largely as they should. Which will actually be pretty good, and the nutrition received will be fantastic. Unripened vegetation (and especially the parts of the plant that any tree would prefer no one to nibble on: branches, leaves, bark, the trunk itself) are uncomfortably fleshy on the inside, though. The limbs of the tree aren't called that for nothing- and the deeper one gets, the outright meatier they become. Even the smaller branches have an odd metallic aftertaste, and the texture is a bizarre hybrid of plant fibers and meat fibers. Injuries it takes this way will bleed reddish sap-blood. It won't hurt the stomachs of any nibbling Glires/Ruminantias though, and the nutrition remains excellent. |
