Testing the waters here... His goal would be to expose them to a "realistic combat scenario" to track their progress and maintain dominance of a volatile situation ( e.g. reassuring and controlling the staff & protestors ), as well as being able to reveal elements of Patho-Gen HQ/the files directly to them. Mostly, it's an effort to show off his work! Edited 2025-10-07 01:58 pm (local)	Depending on how the militia behave, Patho-Gen could either be resentful/alarmed at this incursion on their property... or reluctantly appreciative of the help. Or a bit of both, depending on what part of the company is watching. They would attempt to cooperate rather than refuse them access, at least- as there's already been threats (and more than threats) of violence to their staff, and their own guards are insufficient to handle this level of outcry. (Not everyone has those clickers, and the clickers naturally don't work on Karterians!) The staff themselves would range from relieved to have backup, to getting cocky from having backup (inciting both protesting Karterian and Augmented alike), to being nervous about their presence at all. It makes everything feel very serious, all of a sudden; why is this happening over some crucial Augmenter maintenance...? How things turn out also depends on how the Augmented themselves react to this... of course that's not something that we can control, but it'd certainly be some kind of test of Set's forces!
