(Asking about it being a typo because I've been through as much of the FAQs as I can and this is the only reference to Controlling that I managed to pull up. I don't doubt your modly wisdoms <3)	Ohh good catch, and you're entirely right. It should be Calling, it's usually referred to as Calling in the setting. That was just an error in wording... As controlling is more of an accurate way of describing it, but it doesn't sound as nice. And most Karterians would prefer to avoid thinking about their magic that way, that it's closer to coercion rather than just... calling a beast over, and asking it to do something! So yes, Calling is the 'official' term for it.
