Hello, mods!

1 - Have a canon specific question that I should've asked earlier (but I also don't think it's a big deal that it changes much?) Dunno if it's a silly question or a similar question was asked and i missed it - apologies, if so!

In canon, Cybertronian has something called a spark, which is basically their soul and heart. But unlike any regular souls, which are intangible, a spark is a physical soul. So, my question is, does Soundwave have a physical soul residing inside his human vessel, therefore able to feel it pulsate along with his heartbeat, or is it intangible like any other souls?

2 - Following up on a conversation Soundwave had in-game, he will head over to Patho-Gen and respectfully ask them why he's "humanized" instead of bringing over his real body? Also, are they keeping his original, real body hidden somewhere, or do they not have access to it? What will Patho-Gen responses be?

The OOC reason was that I wanted to severely nerf Soundwave by "humanizing" him and I figured him being a giant mech was unwieldy for the setting as an IC reason, but I wanted to be sure what IC responses he'll get from Patho-Gen!
1. That's an interesting quirk... but yes, he'd be able to keep his soul as it is.

And as you say, it wouldn't change anything. He just has his familiar physical soul in his new body, along with the more intangible Natural Soul.

2. When asked, the Patho-Gen employee will have to look up his specific circumstances, as while it's not unheard of for characters to come in and require some... relocating, it's not common. Whatever answer they pull up will startle them. "Respectfully... I don't think we could accommodate someone of your dimensions."

With some helpless gesturing towards, well, the city. A place built for humanity.

Is his original body located somewhere on Patho-Gen's property? They wouldn't be able to answer that, the average employee wouldn't have access to that level of information. But they would suggest the answer is no. It is mostly a guess on their part. They've never seen the mechanism that brings characters to their world, but they can't imagine that it's large enough to permit entities of his stature.

(How was he brought in then, how was anyone brought in- they don't have any hard answers for that. The explicit details of the transfer are kept amongst the higher ups in the company. All the public-facing staff know, is that sometimes someone will come through who needs to be placed in a new physical body.)
